Smiling so much it hurts

As you may have noticed in my post from earlier this morning with video (below), Drew has been rolling over a lot lately. To give you an idea of just how on the move he is, Jana captured this picture last week of Drew out of his bundle (he was down for a nap on his nap blanket). Somehow he shoved the bundle aside and rolled in the opposite direction to get over into the corner . . . where he promptly got stuck. Drew loves his pacifier, but he also loves to grab it out of his mouth and then can't always figure out where it went or why it won't stay in his mouth (he puts it back in, but won't let go of it). In an effort to outsmart him, Jana placed one pacifier in his mouth and then one in each hand. Thus, Drew was tricked because he couldn't let go of either hand once it had a pacifier in it (he doesn't like to let go) and he couldn't pull the pacifier out of his mouth. We are smarter than our five-month-old son! Yeah!
On Friday night we said goodbye to our friend Nora, who is moving to Pennsylvania. Drew gave her a great send-off though by giggling, smiling, and laughing for Nora. Check out how much fun he was having!

I think his face had to hurt by the time we left because he was smiling so much!
Here is Drew preparing for another round of giggles.A more subdued Drew is showing off his neck strength. We bought a sun tent for Drew in preparation for going to the beach. Yesterday we tried it out in the backyard and Drew seems to enjoy it.He was pretty happy inside the tent and even took a nap in it while Jana and I enjoyed sitting in our backyard and reading. I actually have video of Drew in the tent that I will try to post as well as some other assorted videos of him.
